Practice Manager

Brian Niezabitowski

Brian Niezabitowski started working for Kremer Veterinary Services in January of 2018. He is currently the Operations/Practice Manager at the Animal Care Center of Downers Grove location. Brian graduated from De La Salle High School in Chicago, Illinois. He then went on to start his degree in Criminal Justice at Moraine Valley Community College.

What inspired Brian into going in to the Veterinary industry, was that one day he had to take his dog in to see the Veterinarian and he was blown away on how great the staff and doctors were with not only himself, but his dog as well. After speaking with a couple of the employees as well as the doctor about the company, he soon applied and as the saying goes, the rest is history. One of Brian’s favorite things about working in this field is that every day is different. It can go from being very slow to crazy hectic in a matter of minutes! To him, that is so exciting!

Brian currently has 2 dogs: 4-year-old Havanese named Sofie and a rescue dog named Parker who is also 4. Both have completely different personalities and that is what makes them the greatest dogs according to Brian. He is married as of September 2017 to his beautiful wife Tori; they do not currently have any children. Brian does enjoy watching the Cubs and Bears play (tougher being a Bears fan these days)! If Brian is not at work, you can find him at home working on home improvement projects or out fishing.

Technician Manager

Jennifer Kopera

Jennifer Kopera has been working for Kremer Veterinary Services since February of 2015. She began as a technician at Animal Care Center of Plainfield and got the opportunity to transfer to Animal Care Center of Downers Grove in December of 2017 to become the Technician Manager! Jennifer studied Veterinary Medical Technology at Joliet Junior College and became a Certified Veterinary Technician in 2014. Her absolute favorite thing about the veterinary field is the patient care. Jennifer genuinely enjoys seeing the change in a patient as they recover, whether it be from a surgery or an illness. She finds it truly rewarding knowing that she is apart of what is helping them heal. Jennifer has always had a love for animals, which is exactly what inspired her to go into the veterinary field. She was positive exactly what she wanted to do in her career, so she decided to volunteer at an Animal Emergency Hospital & that night she knew she was exactly where she was meant to be!

Jennifer has a 2-year-old Catahoula/Blue Heeler mix that she rescued in July of 2017 named Chloe. Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys hiking, escape rooms, baking, traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Reception Manager

Yvette Duarte

Yvette began working for Kremer Veterinary Services in January of 2018. She started with no veterinary industry experience, and only four short months later, she was promoted to a lead receptionist. As of February 2020, she has been promoted to our Reception Manager. Yvette graduated from Glenbard West High School in 2015. She plans on attending the College of Dupage in the Fall of 2020 to study Sonography.

What inspired Yvette to go into the veterinary industry was seeing thousands of stray animals on the streets of Mexico when she was growing up. These memories really helped Yvette decide to pursue the veterinary industry. Yvette loves this field because every day is different. She especially loves seeing pups!

Yvette is a proud dog mom of a 3-year-old Pitbull named Ivy! Fun fact - Yvette is fluent in Spanish. Her hobbies include playing softball with friends and family, going hiking with friends & Ivy, & of course, watching the Cubbies play some ball!

DGAC Casey Edit
Kennel Manager

Casey Kennicott

Casey joined Kremer Veterinary Services in February of 2018 as a Kennel Attendant at Animal Care Center of Plainfield soon after he transferred to the Downers Grove location and soon became the Kennel Manager. The reason Casey is most passionate about the veterinary industry is having the bonding experience with the animals and witnessing the top notch patient care that both KVS and ACC of Downers Grove provides.

What inspired Casey to work in vet field was his absolute love for animals and being able to take care of them everyday. Casey was actually on track to begin Nursing school, however he wanted to start off with a job in a hospital environment. He says once we started at our Plainfield location, he knew instantly vet med was for him.

Casey currently has 4 pets. 3 cats named Christopher, Roman, and Elsa. He also has 1 dog named Mila! All his pets were adopted through Help Save Pets humane society. Casey got married to his wife Ashley in July of 2019. In addition, Casey has one son named Noah.

Kind Words from Happy Pet Parents!

Dr. True is one of the kindest people I have ever met. He is so wonderful with my Dog. He gets down low on the floor with him, very gentle and always concerned. He speaks so politely and professionally to me and always listens to whatever I have to say. I cannot say enough great things about him! -Clare C.
